VIZITERV Environ Environmental and Water Design, Consulting and Service Nonprofit Ltd. was founded in 2005. Its main business activities include design tasks in the field of water management, water damage control, surface and underground water resource management and drinking water supply as well as water management and environmental expert activities and operation of the accredited soil mechanics laboratory. It is a state-owned company since 22nd December, 2016, and the ownership rights are exercised directly by the General Directorate of Water Management (OVF). Over the past few years, it has been developed into the country’s largest water design office, it employes about 150 people currently, and most of the employees have a college or university degree. The company has four regional offices and operates with national coverage.

Activities

The aim and task of the Company is to prepare and design the developments in the water management sector at high professional level, thus contributing especially to the implementation of projects funded by the European Union (KEHOP) and by Hungary. VIZITERV Environ Ltd. also carries out
adult training activities in the water management sector. After obtaining the certificate, students in professional training can obtain the state-recogzined certificate in accredited examination centers.  In 2018, the Company’s tasks were further expanded by FIDIC engineering and technical control tasks. From 1st January, 2019, the tasks of external project management organization to be implemented by the OVF, within the framework of the KEHOP
(Environmental and Energy Efficiency Operative Program), are also carried out by VIZITERV Environ Nonprofit Ltd.
